When watching yourself on video, it is often easy to get carried away with the little things.
“I can NOT believe I still wear that!”
“Do I really sound like that?”
Self reflection can be intimidating, particularly when watching yourself for the first time on camera. We recommend starting small, here are some ideas to get your started.
- Two stars and a wish – find two positives and something you’d like to improve
- Plus, minus and what’s next? – what did you do well based on your goals and standards and what could be done better. Also – what goal will you set for next time?
- Warm & cool feedback – seek out someone to tell you what you did really well (warm fuzzies) and what you aren’t quite getting yet (you’re still cold)
- And many more…
